All Women are Welcome to Join Us!
LWML
The St. John's chapter of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, 9:30am to 12:30pm in Walker Hall Dining Room. (September through June.) We also have an evening group that meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:15pm.
LMWL supports each woman in her relationship with Christ and empowers her to use her God given gifts in ministry. Women members of St John’s are part of the 200,000 volunteers in the United States and Canada that make up LWML. Women at St. John’s meet monthly to do special projects, which benefit mission programs world-wide.
St. John’s women enjoy community participating in programs of Inspiration- Bible Study and devotions, Prayer and Praise; Education- speakers, movies/videos and various literature and activities; Service- tying quilts for Lutheran World Relief, sending personal greetings to Military Personnel, creating greeting cards for St. John’s shut-ins, along with other congregational and community in-service projects.
