Youth Ministry at St. John's Orange VISION: 

Shaping Servant Hearts


PURPOSE:  

Every youth will strive to become a consistent lifelong follower of Jesus Christ. Every youth will connect to God through the Scriptures, Sacraments, and Worship and joyfully grow in their walk with Christ with each other, with the chief end of sharing their gifts and glorifying God.

Jr. High

Main Event:  WEDNESDAYS 6:30pm

Everyone in grades 6 to 8 are invited to our weekly  Wednesday night 'youth group' in THE GARAGE youth room and a variety and special events, trips, and camps happen throughout the year.  Students in 8th Grade and above are encouraged to participate in our CONFIRMATION program where they are instructed in the study of God's Word and Lutheran Doctrine, and are equipped to become disciples who serve in church and the community, and empowered to become more Christ-like in charter.

JR. HIGH

High School

Main Event:  SUNDAYS 5:00pm

Students in grades 9 to 12 gather on Sunday evenings for our High School youth group  -- a safe place for kids to connected with friends and grow in God’s Word and enjoy games, Bible study, and food. There are plenty of special events, trips, and camps for this age group too...

Main Event:  SUNDAYS 7:30pm

For 8th Grade Students

Instructs students in the study of God's word and Lutheran Doctrine, equips them to become disciples serving in the community and in the church, and empowers them to develop a Christ-like attitude.
