Our St. John's Mission Team will building a home.

THE STORY

In 2022, our St. John's Mission Team partnered with Kingdom Builders to build a neighborhood church in Tecate, Mexico, Mi Roca Fuerte, meaning, "My Strong Rock." From the  beginning, this work has pointed us to Christ, our firm foundation.

St. John's has continued walking alongside this community through 2025, returning for several trips to host events and to begin construction on a parsonage for the pastor serving at Mi Roca Fuerte.

Through Kingdom Builders, churches and homes are built in local neighborhoods so that the Word of God may be proclaimed and God's people may gather around worship. These neighborhood churches allow families to walk to church, as reliable transportation is often out of reach. In these places, the Gospel is shared simply and faithfully rooted in Christ, our Rock, who comes near to His people and meets them right where they are.

You Will Need A Passport or Passport Card.  A passport or passport card is required to cross the border. If you do not have one, begin the process of obtaining one now so you won’t encounter any restrictions to your ability to travel with us on future trips.
