2025 VBS MISSION PROJECT
The Peru Project
The Peru Project is an ongoing effort from St. John’s Lutheran Church & School to support Mi Dulce Hogar, a school in Peru.
In October 2024, our school principal Dr. Hollatz, teacher Señora Pallette, and Pastor Trevor Van Blarcom visited the school, giving us the opportunity to see firsthand the lives we’re impacting.
While in Peru, the brought SJLS school uniforms and purchased shoes for the students. During the visit, they also learned about a special need. One of the children required a cochlear implant. We were able to raise funds to help provide it, changing her life forever!
The trip deepened our connection and gave new purpose to the work we’re doing. Through the Peru Project, we continue to raise funds and support to meet both everyday needs and life-changing ones for the children in Peru.
