Physical Education Instructor
St. John’s Lutheran School is seeking a passionate, skilled, and mission-minded Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our Christ-centered educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. The PE teacher plays a vital role in promoting physical wellness, teamwork, character development, and lifelong healthy habits for students in grades PK–8.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate PE instruction aligned with standards
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment for all students
- Align to the mission and ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church and School
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Participate in school events, chapel, and faculty meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, teaching credential preferred
- Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school PE preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Christian, Lutheran education
