Greetings to St. John's Seniors Celebration Generation,
It is exciting to finally be able to explore the possibilities of planning some events this year!
Book Club has already resumed meeting the 4th Wednesday of each month in the parlor. We will meet on May 25th at 10am and are currently reading "After the Fire" by Lauren Belfer. If you like to read, we'd love to have you join us.
We will also be resuming our monthly "lunch bunch". We will meet on the 1st Monday of each month. Our first "feast" will be on Monday June 6th at Moreno's. The restaurants will honor individual payments. Please contact
to make a reserve your spot.
We are also talking to Pastor Trevor about having a Bingo event towards the end of summer or early fall. We will need help to facilitate the event, so please email me if you can offer any help.
Hopefully it will be possible to have our senior Christmas lunch this year - We would need lots of help, so would love to hear from anyone who would like to volunteer.
Travel events are also possible for this year, recognizing travel mandates may be required - will keep you updated.
Last, Food and Fellowship will be resuming - Joan Gregory has this year planned and has a great system that has worked for her. Joan would love to have some help for next year.
Sending God's blessings to all!
See you soon!!
