Transfigured Hearts -- Concordia Concertato Ensemble

Brass, winds, strings, and voices – all hand-picked players and singers from Concordia University Irvine – all come together to form a “Concertato Ensemble” with a particular focus on church music. This group will lead us in a worshipful afternoon of Baroque and classical gems written for cathedrals and chapels. The music brings us from Transfiguration – Christ in glorious brilliance on the mountaintop – to Lent, an introspective shift that moves our hearts to deep prayer.
