 A Women’s Christmas Event - 

This Christmas, join us for a special message of hope, rooted in the ancient promises of God and fulfilled in the birth of Jesus. The prophet Isaiah used the imagery of a root and a branch to describe the coming Savior:

• “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit” (Isaiah 11:1).

• “The Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples” (Isaiah 11:10).

• “He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground” (Isaiah 53:2).

From humble beginnings, Jesus came as the promised Root and Branch, bringing life, light, and salvation to the world.

Drawing from our guest speaker, Jodi Snowdon’s book Depth, we’ll explore how these images of roots, branches, and depth remind us to stay firmly planted in Christ—especially in the busyness of the holiday season. Just as a root sustains life unseen, so Christ is our source of strength, growth, and hope.
