The fourth Saturday of every month, St. John’s becomes a place where people from our community, and neighboring communities, come to receive fresh, healthy food for their family. In partnership with Second Harvest, we give out over 2,000 lbs to more than 100 families each month.

If you are in need

of fresh fruits and vegetables for your family, you are welcome to participate in our food distribution, which begins at 9:00am. Please know we will be unable to provide food before 9:00am, so plan to arrive at St. John’s no earlier.  Our distribution takes place in the parking garage located on the corner of Shaffer Street and Chapman Avenue -- 134 S. Shaffer Street.

If you would like to serve alongside our team of caring, warm volunteers, please contact us.  Volunteers are needed from 8:00am to 11:00am, and depending upon need, will be asked to greet and direct guests who arrive for food, or may assist with set up, bagging and distribution of food, and post-distribution clean up
