Last week saw a lot of movement on the exterior and interior of the Sanctuary.

• Scaffolding will continue until Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Once done the drop-off/pickup zones will be much more accessible. Thank you everyone for your understanding and patience.
• Asbestos removal has begun on the outside of the windows. There are only a few areas needing remediation.
• Work will begin on the covering of the stained glass windows on the exterior once the wind calms down.
• We are hopeful to get city sign off on the propose grout sample for the brick later this week. Once that is done we will start to see a lot of work begin on removing the old grout and installing the new seismic fasteners.
• All of the pews were removed last week for refinishing and we will see those back towards the end of the project.
• The electricians have started the removal and making safe the old electrical.
• This week selective demo should begin on those areas being rebuilt in the choir loft and altar areas.
• Interior scaffolding potentially could up in the next several days.

As a reminder about safety, please respect all posted signs and stay outside the construction fences. There have been no issues so far so thank you for your continued cooperation. We want to see a 100% safe project by the time we are done.
