Missions & Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach coordinator Position is a full-time position that supports the work of St John’s Missions and Outreach ministry, specifically our Vulnerable Children’s Ministry. The coordinator is responsible for building relationships with our community Partners and the families we serve, coordinating the various events we host, organizing and training volunteers, and identifying next steps for families.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinates Caregiver’s Day Off with vendors, volunteers, partners, and vulnerable families.
- Assists with equipping and organizing Care Community teams. Recruits, schedules, and trains volunteers.
Maintains up-to-date standard operating procedures for ministry functions. Ensures the information is easily accessible to others, and essential practices are followed. - Performs follow-up and check-in calls with Kinship families, Care Community and Strong Family volunteers.
- Under the direction of the Minister of Missions and Outreach, coordinates communication for events. Updates printed and web-based materials, ensuring information is accurate and current.
- Prepares reports as needed utilizing a variety of computer applications.
- Assists Minister of Missions and Outreach with ministry meetings, including preparing documents and taking meeting notes
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT, FULL-TIME 40 HOURS/WK
SALARY RANGE: $23-$27/Hour
