“There is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9. The sinful concerns that surface in Amos, Jonah, and Habakkuk surface today. Spiritual decay amidst economic prosperity is evident in 21st century America, just as it was among Amos’ contemporaries. Jonah’s unwillingness to share the grace of the Lord with those he deemed unworthy remains, as Christians are reluctant to speak the Gospel to their own “enemies” today. Habakkuk’s dismay at God’s choice to use those who do not recognize Him is echoed among His people today. Thanks be to God, the same mercy He showed then is still ours today.

LifeLight combines individual preparation with group discussion and a theological presentation to create a meaningful and informative study of God’s Word.  Prayerfully consider joining this new session, asking that the Spirit of God open your eyes and heart to the saving message before you.
