By a unanimous 5-0 decision, the City of Irvine's Planning Commission approved the permanent siting of Crean Lutheran South High School in east Irvine at the intersection of Sand Canyon and Portola Parkway, immediately adjacent to Irvine Blvd. and the 133 Toll Road. This decision, which also came with a grading permit to begin grading the site effective immediately, caps a three year process. Details on groundbreaking, which is now tentatively set for February 6 - pending approvals, are forthcoming. We would love to have you and the St. John's community attend.
The following link captures the OC Register article about the project's approval, which chronicles the development of the first 15 acres of an ultimate build out of 27 acres over the next few years, inclusive of baseball and softball fields not mentioned in the article.
