Interested in Lutheran beliefs or church membership?
We believe that our Church Information Class is the best way to get to know our church and its ministries, and to help newcomers feel a part of our church family. We want you to feel comfortable at St. John’s by preparing you to be an active member—serving God and others out of faith and love.

To become a member at St. John’s, we invite you to attend a 10 week class introducing you to the teachings of the Christian faith. The first six weeks address the Bible, the Triune God and the “what and why” of Christianity. The last four weeks focus on Discipleship and how Christians live out their faith

Already a Confirmed Lutheran?
For people who have already been confirmed Lutheran and are either transferring from another church to St. John’s or have not been actively attending a Lutheran church but wish to reaffirm their faith, we ask that you attend the last four sessions of the class. You are certainly welcome, and encouraged, to attend all 10 classes, but the goal of the final four classes is to help you practice a life of regular worship, participation, stewardship and service to others in the Body of Christ here at St. John’s.

(take the large staircase - across the playground between the Chapman Bldg. and Walker Hall)
