St. John’s Community Music Conservatory
Opened in the fall of 1986, St. John’s Music Conservatory provides year-round musical instruction within a Christian environment for students of all ages. Most “classical” instruments, including guitar and voice, are taught by professionals in their respective fields. Students are given the opportunity to play in recitals three times a year, and advanced students have the opportunity to play in our Church services. The Conservatory provides quality lessons to church members and many in our community.
In addition to private instruction, the Conservatory offers a Musikgarten program for children aged 3 years through Grade 1. This group music experience introduces children to rhythm, movement, percussion, note reading, and singing. Each group is limited to 10 children.
Open to students of all ages, the Conservatory has a number of adults who want to improve their playing, or have decided to take up an instrument for fun. All of our teachers have a love for the Lord as well as for music. We praise and thank God for all that He continues to do through our Conservatory. Come by for a visit or a tour!
