Activity to do at home

Materials:

Paper bag filled with a few things: video game controller or a toy (depending on age), cell phone, a hammer, a dollar and a slice of bread

Talk to your child about being hungry.  Pull out the each item and ask them if it would satisfy their physical hunger.

Last, pull out the bread. This is the only thing in this bag that can fill your tummy.  Remind them to fill their body with what it really needs.  No religion, philosophy, or doctrine can do that. No work of charity can satisfy your soul. Only Jesus can fully satisfy.  Many people seek to satisfy the soul with money, success, fame, or pleasure, but there is a God-shaped void in everyone’s soul that can only be filled by Jesus Christ.
