A Christian estate plan helps us to realize that the decades we live in this earthly life are brief, but God’s plans are eternal.

Sometimes when we engage in the process of putting an estate together, we can get caught up in checking off so many details that we forget to pray, think, and discuss our goals and intentions, which are meant to focus on lives of faithful stewardship, caring for family, supporting ministry, and sharing Jesus as Savior with the world.  Creating inheritance for family is not a response to entitled transfer of wealth. It is intentional sharing of God’s gifts with the next generation or two, praying those gifts will enable God’s plans for those family members. Your plan might include gifts to specific ministries, your home congregation, or an organization that is dear to your heart.  Just like you, the possibilities for Estate Planning are unique and special.

 Did you know: 

• Your estate plan can include a Christian preamble or family blessing with which you state your faith?
• There are ways to share these blessings both now and after you have gone home to the Lord?
• You can specify not just the organizations you are connected to but specific projects or efforts of that charity as well?
