CARE MINISTRY TRAINING

Care Ministry 101: God’s People Caring for God’s People

January 12th, 11am in Fellowship 203

St. John’s is a really big place.
In order to care well for each other, we strive
to be a place where  God’s people care for God’s people.

Join us as we look at what it means to be a church that cares for one another. We will look at what God’s word has to say about the call to care, the theology of suffering, and the ministry of all believers.

Be equipped and encouraged to care for those God has placed in your life, and connect with one of our St. John’s care ministry teams! Simple acts of service like bringing a meal to the sick, preparing lemonade at funeral receptions and praying for the needs of our church can make a big difference.

You will be able to sign up immediately, and meet the team leaders for:
Meal Ministry Team

Seasonal Visitation Team (Christmas Poinsettias and Easter Lillies)

Funeral Reception Hosts

Prayer Teams

Care Ministry Hospitality Team

Want to serve on a more committed role, alongside our staff?
Care Ministry Training (102-104) will prepare you to serve on:

Homebound Visitation Team

Crisis/Hospital Care Team

Marriage Ministry Team
