Boy’s Varsity Basketball  LBAA 2009 National Tournament

SUNDAY MARCH 29:  
  Way to go Mustangs!
The boys made it to the 4th round and missed moving on to the final by a margin of only 3 ponts.  Hold your heads up high guys you did GREAT!
  Christ Lutheran of Peoria IL beat Concordia of Bloomington, MN with a score of 56 to 47 to become the 2009 LBAA Tournament Champs.

SATURDAY MARCH 28:  SJLS Boys Varsity wins again!!  Their next game is at 8:20am on Sunday - If they can win that one we are on to the FINAL!  Click the link above to watch the webcast at game time. 

TUESDAY MARCH 3rd:  SJLS receives the official word that our boy’s varsity basketball team is invited to participate in the National Lutheran Basketball Tournament held in Valparaiso, Indiana. We are trying look at ways we can help our boys with this opportunity. Next week “Denim for Dollars” will go to help with expenses. You may be invited to support our boys through a financial gift. I want everyone to know that we understand the nature of economics these days and the impact these times have on family finances. So we completely understand that when invited to support a trip like this, the answer may be “No, I am sorry but thank you for asking.” Likewise, we also know that there are families who are able and excited about helping out. The only way we know is by asking.
