Since last September, SEEDS Fine Arts Exhibits and ministry have been on the move. The "Dawn to Dawn, Journeys Through Pain To Freedom" exhibit completed it's travels June 30th near Omaha, Nebraska at Midland Lutheran College during a very busy month of events, including a conference of 1,000 pastors, lay leaders and teachers and Lutherfest. This exhibit has served five communities, 50 artists and many, many visitors.

The last week of June also found SEEDS camping out with thousands of other Christa ins at the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Illinois. Visit www.cornerstonefestival.com and view the 'Who do you say I am?' exhibit.

At Concordia University, three museum quality permanent collections have been established. 'Lessons learned, Wisdom Gained' is a collection that considers the 'as you go' aspect of the Great Commission, and is placed in hallways and public areas of CUI's new Grimm Hall. The Classrooms Collection, or 'God's Cross Cultural Purpose' begins a collection of works that look at our Christian faith through the eyes of the different cultures of the world. Every classroom in the combined six floors of Grimm Hall houses at least two works of art. The Masterworks include Rembrandt's 'Abraham's Sacrifice', Marc Chagall's 'Angel of Judgment' and Salvador Dali's 'Le Christ'. This artwork is available for viewing any time the building is open.

SEEDS next exhibit, "Out of the Ashes", opening Labor Day weekend on St. John's campus, is and exhibit of artists who have recently died or are fighting for their lives. Their are continues to speak of their walk of faith and their hope of eternal life to us today. Please join us in Fellowship Hall #107 during the Orange International Street Fair and the week following Labor Day. Please encourage your children's teachers or your special interest group to reserve a tour time for this special exhibit. Simply contact Shannon Beshara, 714-288-4477, to reserve your time.

As always, we would love your prayers to go before these 'plantings'.
