Project 23 is once again collecting clothing
and other useful items for the less fortunate
in our community.
Collection boxes will be at the exits
of all services on Sundays
What is "Project 23"?
Each year, we invite people in our area who are without family, friends or funds at Christmas to come to St. John's on the Saturday before Christmas for a hot delicious breakfast. The morning also includes a program with gifts, such as warm sweatshirts, underwear and socks. Last year, over 700 people were served.
The Project 23 breakfast event for 2012 will be held on December 15 in the Great Room of Walker Hall at 7am.
Every month we will feature a different item that we are collecting for Project 23. (see the list below) Please place your donations in the bins located outside the Sanctuary and Walker Hall. Thank you for your support.
