Worship with us on SUNDAYS @ 9am - 11am - 630pm

the 'e' service     SUNDAYS at 9:30am, 11:00am in Walker Hall Auditorium.

Join us as we gather together to celebrate God and all He has done for us.  We come together as one voice to sing praise to our Lord led by the force, St. John's Praise Band.  Each week there is a relevant and applicable message from God's Word.  Communion will be celebrated every first and third Sundays of the month.  Invite a friend and attend.

St. John's own Contemporary Worship Band, The Force, has been leading the Contemporary Worship services for the past ten years.  In addition to St. John's services, The Force has performed throughout various venues in Southern California and entertained more than 10,000 people with their upbeat message.  If you would like The Force to visit your campus, outreach event or church please contact Contemporary Worship at (714) 288-4477 for more information, and booking arrangements.

BAND FORCE

If you have a passion for Praising and Worshiping God through music, and growing in your musical ability, we have a place for you on the Contemporary Worship Team.  If you like the music that is played in the Auditorium, and can commit some time to preparing for and participating in the worship services, we want to talk to you! Your musical talent, joined with the other talents of the Worship Team, will help lead God's people in Worship with Passion and Presence. Bass, Guitar, Drums and Keys are need but what ever instrument that you play will also be welcomed.

PRAISE SINGERS

The Praise Singers join with the Praise Band in leading worship in the Contemporary Services. A good singing voice is required. The ability to sing harmonies, read music and experience singing with a rock band are all a plus. Membership is by audition only.

DRAMA FORCE

     If you have a passion for sharing the Gospel of Christ, and haven't found the perfect way to use your gifts yet, maybe Drama Force is for you! We are looking for individuals who have a variety of skills/gifts to help prepare and present short dramatic sketches for use primarily in the contemporary worship setting. Drama can be a great way to help the pastors illustrate a point, introduce a sermon topic, or make an abstract concept such as "faith" clear for all age groups. We need actors, but also people with skills in organizing, finding props, helping with costuming...etc.
