WASC & NLSA Grants 6 Year Accreditation

| In early June Mr. Einem, St. John's Lutheran School Principal, received the official letter regarding re-accreditation from the Chairman of the WASC Commission, Mr. Thomas Beecher. Mr. Beecher informed Mr. Einem that our school received a “Six year term of accreditation with a midterm review.” This is great news!! Praise God for this accomplishment and for the dedicated work by students, faculty, parents and the establishing of a plan for our school that provides clear direction for the next 6 years! We are putting together several “task force” groups on topics such as parents helping parents, co-curricular activities for students, marketing our school, school outreach/evangelism, Christian Learning curriculum, school financial planning, 3rd source funding, and establishing a St. John’s alumni organization. Establishing these groups is in light of the goals and objectives established with “Visioning the Future” of our school and WASC. If you have knowledge and skills in any of these areas and would like to be considered for participation, please let Mr. Einem know. Individuals will be pulled together and groups formed as we start school in August. Contact Mr. Einem for more information. |
