READY...SET...KINDERGARTEN CAMP!

The daily schedule, curriculum and atmosphere reflect the formal Kindergarten setting and schedule including:

• Center Time
• Seat Work
• Group Time
• Recess on the "Big Yard"
• A Visit to the Gymnasium, Library and Chapel
• Morning Snack and Lunch at the Kindergarten Lunch Tables

You can choose to have your child attend one, two, or three sessions of camp.  The activities and curriculum of Kindergarten Camp will be identical each week.  However, we decided to open the sessions up to repeat campers due to the many comments from parents and children last year; "We wish we could do it again next week!"

Session I:
Monday, July 20th-Friday, July 24th, 2009
8:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Session II:
Monday, July 27th - Friday, July 31st, 2009
8:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Session III:
Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th, 2009
8:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Participating in this camp will help your child to ease their transition into Kindergarten:

• Spend time in a Kindergarten classroom participating in a typical Kindergarten morning schedule and curriculum
   
• Gain confidence, experience and become familiar with a Kindergarten environment and classroom without the anxiety that comes with the first days of school
   
• Sharpen their readiness skills that wane during the summer months through hands-on learning that will incorporate social skills, fine motor skills, pre-math skills, and pre-reading skills.

The fee for each session of camp is $125 per child.  This fee includes all classroom materials and a T-shirt for your child to wear throughout the week.  Payment plan and financial assistance is available upon request.  Registration form, along with payment, is due by Friday, June 30, 2009.
