Workshop Enrichment Experiences (WEE)

St. John's Lutheran Preschool offers an innovative and exciting enrichment aspect to our preschool curriculum! This approach to preschool learning is called Workshop Enrichment Experiences or WEE.

We began utilizing a version of WEE during the 2006-2007 school year.  In its first iteration, children rotated weekly among workshop rooms. This proved difficult for the children, parents and teachers. However, enriching the children's experiences each week with a specific area of curriculum, for project based work, was exciting to all. After redesign, the WEE program rotates the enrichment experiences, materials and projects into the classrooms and meets the children in their own environment each week.
